PrintnFlow

Self-Service Printing Kiosk for Colleges

PrintnFlow is a self-service printing kiosk built for colleges. A student scans the QR code on the kiosk screen, uploads the document from their phone, picks copies and options, pays digitally and collects the printout — about a minute, with no queue, no cash and no staff involved. Between print jobs the screen doubles as a campus display for announcements and events. Our first kiosk has been running on the ground floor of the Sir M. V. Block at BMSIT&M, where it has printed 1,000+ pages for real students — and students and faculty have asked for more blocks.

Key capabilities

Scan, upload, pay, collect

Scan the QR on the kiosk, choose the PDF on your phone, pick copies and print options, pay by UPI and collect. The screen guides every step, and documents are released only at the kiosk for the student who sent them.

Honest, monitored printing

Progress is shown page by page, and paper-out or a jam appears on screen immediately instead of failing silently. Every order is recorded, with usage and uptime visible to the administration.

Runs on its own

A colour laser printer that prints up to 1,000 pages at one refill, at a running cost of about 45–60 paise a page. The college owns the kiosk, sets its own per-page rates and keeps the printing revenue.

Proven, then scaled

1,000+ pages printed by students at BMSIT&M. Colleges can start with one kiosk at a busy spot, review real usage and feedback, then extend to more blocks, the library and hostels on one platform.
